With the onboarding of a national team for this age group, the MAYFL BOD has approved a two-champion playoff format. One MAYFL 9U Champion and one MAYFL Grassroots Champion. The regular season #1 and #2 seeds will play for the MAYFL Championship while seeds 3 and 4 play a semi-final round with the winner advancing to the MAYFL Grassroot Championship game to compete against the loser of the MAYFL 9U Championship round.
